Skills and experience


Key Responsibilities:


  • Front desk and administration support and day to day liaison with our busy practitioners
  • Managing the employee lifecycle of all staff including recruitment, induction, training, appraisal of staff and ongoing development
  • Managing rostering of doctors, nurses and staff with adequate cover to deliver required services
  • Maintain and ensure continuous improvement of service and quality standards across the practice
  • Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly reports as directed
  • Acting as the conduit between practice staff and practitioners
  • Lead, coach and motivate a team to reach the practice goals
  • Have an understanding of compliance, legislative and accreditation requirements relating to General Practice
  • Develop and monitor systems, processes and procedures with the ability to recognise and implement changes and improvements as necessary
  • General Practice Management experience of a minimum of 2-3 years
  • Proficient computer skills – either Best Practice or other practice software
  • An excellent understanding of patient billing and receipting
  • The ability to develop and communicate procedures and processes
  • Flexibility in hours of work to maintain business requirements as needed
  • Genuine empathy for patient welfare and superior customer service by "leading by example" and ensuring practitioners and staff adhere to best practice standards
  • Having passion and ambition to develop this role
