In the 2017-18 Budget, the Government announced $14.1 million over 4 years to provide ongoing access to catch-up vaccines from 1 July 2017 for all individuals aged 10 to 19 years, and newly arrived refugees and humanitarian entrants, through the National Immunisation Program (NIP).
The Department has developed the following suite of communications materials in consultation with key immunisation stakeholders to support awareness and uptake of the new measure.

The materials will be published on the Immunise Australia website in the coming days.
From July, the Department will also be working with state and territory governments and other key stakeholders to develop and deliver additional communication strategies to specifically target refugees and humanitarian entrant populations.
