Cancer Council Queensland Health Professionals Network

Cancer Council Queensland (CCQ) has created a health professional network. The aim of this network and CCQ is to develop and strengthen partnerships with health professionals and community networks to provide information, education and ensure our services complement clinical care. We aim to do this through collaborative relationships with the public and private sectors, community groups and other peak health organisations. Click here if you would like to join our newly created CCQ Health Professionals Cancer Network newsletter – eBlast.

CCQ provides a range of practical support services such as fully-funded mental health counselling and bulk billed psychology for anyone experiencing distress due to cancer including family and friends. CCQ also provides subsidy funded accommodation for patients and family members while attending to cancer treatment, with accommodation lodges in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Rockhampton, Townsville, and Cairns.
