25 February AskMBS advice service February 25, 2020 By Announcement, Department of Health, MBS 0 AskMBS is an email service providing advice to health providers and other users of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) on the interpretation and application of MBS items, explanatory notes and associated legislation, to assist them in billing Medicare correctly. The AskMBS advice service is located in the Australian Government Department of Health (the Department), following the transfer of the function from Services Australia, then known as the Department of Human Services, on 1 March 2019.
