Changes to allied health referral arrangements known as the treatment cycle will begin on 1 October 2019. These changes aim to improve the quality of care for Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) clients through GP care coordination. DVA is committed to keeping Provider Associations informed of developments relating to the treatment cycle. Please find attached a letter outlining important information on the treatment cycle relevant to GPs. It provides updated information on the new End of Cycle Report, transitioning to the treatment cycle arrangements, and an indicative timeline on the dates DVA expects to release further resources.
