22 June Fair Work Commission announces 2020 minimum wage decision June 22, 2020 By AAPM, Announcement, General 0 The Fair Work Commission (FWC) has handed down its decision in the National Minimum Wage Case. The FWC determined to increase minimum rates of pay by 1.75%, however, in an unprecedented move the FWC has deferred the commencement of that increase given that the COVID-19 Pandemic has impacted industries differently. The Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2010 and the Nurses Award 2010 are both placed in Group 1 meaning the increase will come into effect from 1 July 2020.
