Practice Manager of the Year Awards

To be eligible, the nominee must demonstrate a commitment to the core principles of Practice Management:

• Financial management
• HR management
• Planning and marketing
• Information management
• Risk management
• Governance and organisational dynamics
• Business and clinical operations
• Professional responsibility

• Currently employed as a Practice Manager, or equivalent, in the healthcare industry.
• Currently holds, or is studying toward, a qualification in Practice Management or Business Management.
• Current financial member of AAPM, or the nominated contact of a Practice membership, for a minimum of two years from the time of application.
• Uphold the AAPM Code of Conduct and embrace its ethos.
• State finalists of the Practice Manager of the Year Award will receive complimentary registration to the 2024 AAPM National Conference, along with return economy airfares and three nights of accommodation. State finalists must be available to attend the 2024 AAPM National Conference, as the prize is not transferrable to another year.

Note

• Directors of AAPM, members of Practice Manager of the Year selection panels, Associate members and Corporate members of AAPM are not eligible to apply.
• AAPM members who have been part of a Practice Manager of the Year selection panel in the past two years are not eligible to apply.

• Practice Managers have the opportunity to nominate themselves, or another individual can nominate a Practice Manager for the award.
